Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They blew past the Northview Chiefs 68-20 on Thursday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makenna Enfinger, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Jarrett, who shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points.

Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

The victory got Central back to even at 3-3. As for Northview, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Paxton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' defense better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 53.4 points per game this season. As for Northview, they are taking a road trip to take on Escambia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
