Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Regina walked away with it. They blew past the Lamphere Rams 3-0 on Wednesday. Regina not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 27th (when they won 3-0).
Marisa Vushaj paced Regina's offense, picking up 13 kills. Vushaj got some help from Lillyana Pitters and her 18 assists. Cate Booms controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
The win made it two in a row for Regina and bumps their season record up to 25-15-2. As for Lamphere, their loss dropped their record down to 2-21.
Looking ahead, Regina will square off against Detroit Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lamphere does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
