Baseball Recap: Laurel Hill Comes Up Short

Laurel Hill suffered their biggest defeat since March 3rd on Monday. They came up short against the Pleasant Home Eagles, falling 9-1. The Hoboes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper Degraaf was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Baker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run.

Laurel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Pleasant Home, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Laurel Hill will host Samson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Home, they are taking a road trip to face off against Florala at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
