Softball Recap: Edwardsville Makes It 12 in a Row at Home

While Edwardsville's win against Columbia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Eagles 8-6. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Edwardsville pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
