Staunton had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 14-6 to the Western Albemarle Warriors. While the Storm didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 6-0 in the first quarter.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Staunton will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
