Kokomo suffered their closest loss since April 12th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Cascade Cadets by a score of 4-2. The Wildkats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kokomo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harry Blake, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Kokomo's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Cascade, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kokomo beat the Cadets by a score of 5-3 later that day.
