Recap: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. James F. Byrnes Rebels
It was a good run, but the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 86-78 hit to the loss column at the hands of James F. Byrnes. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (73), T.L. Hanna still had to take the loss.
Leading James F. Byrnes to victory were Colt Fowler and Will Fowler. Fowler scored 24 points, while Fowler scored 41 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Fowler's 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kanife Hill, who scored six points along with three steals.
T.L. Hanna's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for James F. Byrnes, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mauldin the next time they take the court. James F. Byrnes will host Mauldin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while T.L. Hanna will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
