Soccer Game Preview: Bristol vs. Badger

Bristol is 1-9 against Badger since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Braves at 10:00 a.m. Bristol will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

While Bristol's win against Grand Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers beat the Mustangs by a goal, winning 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 18, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Jenna Perris and Lauren Church scored all three of Bristol's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 43 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Badger made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pymatuning Valley on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lakers. The result was nothing new for Badger, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Bristol's record is now 13-0-1. As for Badger, their record now sits at 8-5.

Bristol came out on top in a nail-biter against Badger in their previous meeting back in August, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
