After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodland Regional, Holy Cross was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Ansonia Chargers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.
Holy Cross was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-18.
Holy Cross' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6-1. As for Ansonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
