It was a good run, but Hibriten unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Alexander Central Cougars by a score of 1-0. Hibriten were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Alexander Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hibriten's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-2. As for Alexander Central, they pushed their record up to 4-4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hibriten will face off against rival South Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alexander Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
