Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Eisenhower, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Salina Central Mustangs get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Friday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Eisenhower pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Salina Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Salina Central will take on Hutchinson on Tuesday. Eisenhower will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' match: after the Mustangs face off against Goddard, they'll take on Eisenhower again on Friday.
