Volleyball Recap: Adeline Hibbert and Ary Guzman Secure Win for Knightstown

Knightstown not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Anderson Prep Academy Jets. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jets, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Knightstown was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-5, 25-12.

Knightstown was led to victory by Ary Guzman and Adeline Hibbert. Guzman had seven digs and seven aces, while Hibbert had six digs. Those seven aces gave Guzman a new career-high.

Knightstown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Anderson Prep Academy, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Knightstown will take on Cowan in a tournament on Saturday. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they will take on University at 10:00 a.m. on September 6.
