Baseball Recap: Knox City Comes Up Short

Knox City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Munday Moguls.

JC Utley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Rowland, who scored a run and stole a base.

Knox City's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Munday, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Munday beat Knox City by a score of 6-4 later that day.
