Burlingame and Carlmont are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers will take on the Scots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Burlingame's last matchup with Los Gatos could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Panthers lost 6-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Carlmont fell victim to Capuchino and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Scots have suffered since March 4th.

Carlmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Luzzo, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Carlmont and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Burlingame, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Burlingame skirted past Carlmont 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
