Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. Greer

The Seneca Bobcats will challenge the Greer Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Seneca sitting on three straight victories and Greer on four.

Seneca proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Berea 4-3. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Seneca were the better team in the second half.

Molly Bradley and Bri Morel scored all four of Seneca's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Meanwhile, Greer kept a clean sheet against Blue Ridge on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fighting Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. Greer's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Greer's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Seneca, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
