Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Oak). They put the hurt on the Gladewater Bears with a sharp 64-39 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Roughnecks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

White Oak's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-15. As for Gladewater, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

White Oak will face off against West Rusk at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Gladewater, they will be playing at home against Sabine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gladewater is facing Sabine at the right time seeing as Sabine is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
