Softball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Wildcats vs. Leon Cougars
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. Enterprise can now relate to. They came up short against the Leon Cougars on Saturday, falling 11-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-11 on Friday.
Mt. Enterprise saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorden Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Jayden Jackson was another, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.
This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Enterprise and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Leon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season.
As of now, neither Mt. Enterprise nor Leon have any future games scheduled.
