It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Valley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They skirted past the Vale Vikings 6-4. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

North Valley pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Vale, they moved to 12-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, North Valley will challenge Warrenton on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.5, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Vale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
