Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwood). They never let the Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Lions get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Devan Ashby made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.
