Carlsbad is 8-2 against Clovis since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Carlsbad lost to Hobbs at home by a 65-47 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavemen/Cavegirls in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Roswell 77-45.

Carlsbad's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Clovis, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.

Carlsbad strolled past Clovis in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a score of 58-43. Will Carlsbad repeat their success, or does Clovis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
