Hallettsville put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rice Consolidated Raiders an 8-0 shutout. The Brahmas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Hallettsville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. Rice Consolidated's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.
