After a string of four wins, the Moulton Bobkatz's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 36-25 to Columbus.

Columbus got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Karlee Mathis out in front who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Anaya Gardner, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.

Moulton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Columbus, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moulton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ganado at 2:15 p.m. on January 2nd. Hopefully Ganado focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Columbus, they will head out on the road to face off against Hallettsville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
