This season hasn't been kind to the Stranahan Mighty Dragons, who are still winless after their tenth match. They took a serious blow against Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, falling 62-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Stranahan of the 60-19 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Fort Lauderdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Azaziah Evans-Blake led the charge by scoring 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'shell Gilbert, who scored 13 points.

Stranahan dropped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Fort Lauderdale, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Stranahan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort Lauderdale is on the road again on Monday and plays the Cobras at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Hopefully Boyd Anderson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 last Tuesday.
