Brewbaker Tech faced Selma in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 28-6 win. Considering the Rams have won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tessa Wilburn produced another solid performance throwing for 124 yards and four TDs. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Brewbaker Tech has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.2 points on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Selma fell to 6-1.

Brewbaker Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Selma, they will square off against Montgomery Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Saints 9.4, the Knights 8.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
