There's no place like home for the Tri-Valley Scotties, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Licking Valley 75-44 at home.
When it comes to explaining why Licking Valley lost on Monday, one person who can't be blamed is Chase Vermilion. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Kamden Walker was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
The win got Tri-Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Licking Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will square off against Crooksville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Licking Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Buckeye Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
