Basketball Recap: Roselle Starts Season with Victory Against Rahway

Roselle had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past the Rahway Indians with a 61-57 victory on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Rams' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Roselle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zaire Hopson, who posted 16 points along with eight boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Morrison, who scored 12 points and four steals.

Roselle and Rahway will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams are set to take on their familiar foe Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rahway will square off against rival Oratory Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
