Volleyball Recap: Wasco Wins Going Away Against Delano

Wasco's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Delano with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for Wasco this season.

Wasco didn't let Delano take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 27-25.

Wasco's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Delano, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wasco will square off against rival Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Delano is set to face off against their familiar foe McFarland at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
