Football Recap: Mt. Hebron Comes Up Short

Mt. Hebron fell victim to Marriotts Ridge and their airtight defense on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 42-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Hebron's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Marriotts Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Mt. Hebron will venture away from home to challenge Hammond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marriotts Ridge, they will welcome Wilde Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs will be up against the Wildecats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
