Basketball Recap: Pueblo South Comes Up Short on the Road Against Fountain-Fort Carson

Pueblo South had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans on Friday. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Fountain-Fort Carson found their leader in sophomore Jordan Ulmer, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryson Williams, who shot 40% from the field en route to 12 points and three steals.

Pueblo South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-50 win against Pueblo West on the 6th. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they have also already played their next game, a 53-34 victory against Falcon on the 6th.
