Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Gets the Win

Tipton Christian Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Varsity Opponent, sneaking past 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with Varsity Opponent: they've now won five in a row.

Tipton Christian Academy's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kase Templeton, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Templeton has posted since back in March. Another was Sam Harris White, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Tipton Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-18-1.

Looking ahead, Varsity Opponent will head out on the road to challenge Living Water Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tipton Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's matchup: after Varsity Opponent face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Tipton Christian Academy again at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
