Volleyball Recap: Kent Denver Comes Up Short

Kent Denver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Stargate School Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Kent Denver was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Kent Denver's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Stargate School, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Coincidentally, Kent Denver and Stargate School will both be playing Middle Park the next time they take the court. The Sun Devils will head out to face the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
