Dawson never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Bosqueville on Friday. They really took it to Bosqueville for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-7 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Dawson's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Itasca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dawson, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Itasca might still be hurting after the 27-6 loss they got from Dawson when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bulldogs' Brant Boatright, who rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 168 yards and one TD.
