            Softball Preview: Grenada Chargers vs. Saltillo Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            The Grenada Chargers are taking a road trip to  square off against the Saltillo Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Neither Grenada nor Saltillo posted many  runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.
Friday just wasn't the day for Grenada's offense. They came up short against  South Panola on Friday, falling  15-0. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Saltillo lost  13-2 to Mooreville on Friday.
 Saltillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Chloe Skelton, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Grenada's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Saltillo, they now  have a losing record of 8-9-1.
Saltillo's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Monday. Grenada has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 10.1  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Saltillo, though, as  they've been averaging  only 2.9  strikeouts. Will Grenada keep running through batters, or will the Tigers buck the trend?
 Grenada took their  win against Saltillo  when the teams last played  back in March by a conclusive  6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
