Elizabeth came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over the Peabody Warhorses. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Tuesday.

Elizabeth let Carter Chamberlain and Cohen Locke run wild. Chamberlain went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI, while Locke went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four runs gave Chamberlain a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaylib Funderburk, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Elizabeth hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Peabody, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Elizabeth will square off against Rapides at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peabody, they will venture away from home to square off against Destrehan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
