The St. Johns Country Day Spartans will take on the North Florida Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
St. Johns Country Day is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Covenant School of Jacksonville a 15-0 shutout. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Madden Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Preston Cole was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in February. TJ Sunderhaus was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.
St. Johns Country Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
North Florida Christian came out on top against St. John Paul II on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 8-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
North Florida Christian also got a great performance from Bryson Bond as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Bond has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kyle Estimond was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. North Florida Christian is undefeated when Estimond posts two or more runs, but 9-16 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
The victory was the fifth in a row for St. Johns Country Day, bringing their record up to 21-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for North Florida Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-16.
North Florida Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Johns Country Day has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. It's a different story for North Florida Christian, though, as they've only averaged .357. Will they be able to contain St. Johns Country Day's hitters?
