Softball Recap: Billings Comes Up Short

Billings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Lamar Tigers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Billings' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lamar, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Billings will challenge Purdy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Billings is facing Purdy at the right time seeing as Purdy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lamar, they will face off against El Dorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
