Concordia came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Sweet Springs/Malta Bend. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Orioles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Concordia's win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sweet Springs/Malta Bend, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
