Soccer Recap: Kearns Comes Up Short

Kearns lost to Cyprus back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Pirates, falling 6-2. Kearns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Cyprus, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kearns will face off against rival Hunter at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cyprus is set to take on their familiar foe West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
