Baseball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-4 to the Norfork Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 last Tuesday.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Norfork, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Concord didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-11 win against Marshall on the 22nd. As for Norfork, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Norfork Panthers duke it out with Izard County Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
