Softball Preview: Ketchikan Kings vs. Colony Knights

The Ketchikan Kings are taking a road trip to take on the Colony Knights at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ketchikan has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ketchikan's last matchup with Colony could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Kings lost 11-4 to the Knights. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Colony's part, Kaidence Browning was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Colony always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ketchikan only posted an OBP of .412.

With that tie, Colony's record moves to 11-3-1. As for Ketchikan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
