Basketball Recap: Platte/Geddes Takes a Loss

Platte/Geddes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-29 loss at the hands of the Parkston Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Black Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Trojans are ranked 13th).

Platte/Geddes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Parkston, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Platte/Geddes will host Colome at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkston has already played their next matchup (against Vermillion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
