Oregon-Davis and Triton are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bobcats will be playing at home against the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. McFarland wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Kaufman, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Kaufman is becoming a predictor of Triton's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't). Isaiah Vaca also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Oregon-Davis' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Triton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
