Basketball Recap: Sayre Takes a Loss

Sayre lost against High School of the Future back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sayre Sabres fell 72-61 to High School of the Future. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

High School of the Future found their leader in sophomore Jameer Brown, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kareem Chappelle, who earned 13 points.

Sayre's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for High School of the Future, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sayre will host Maritime Academy Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for High School of the Future, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Strawberry Mansion at 3:15 p.m.
