Softball Recap: Westview Wolverines vs. Valley Center Jaguars        
        
		
            
 Westview won the last time they faced Valley Center, and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Westview Wolverines blew past the Valley Center Jaguars 14-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Westview.
  Sierra Wallace made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Wallace has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Wallace was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other pitching news,  Anessa Hartman looked comfortable as she  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Reese Marier was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while going 5-for-5.  Leilani Muller was another key contributor,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 On Valley Center's side,  Su'la Devers was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Westview's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-7. As for Valley Center, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-15-1.
 Westview will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against La Costa Canyon at 9:00  a.m. La Costa Canyon is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season. As for Valley Center, they will challenge Mira Mesa at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Valley Center has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
