Volleyball Recap: Lowndes' Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Lowndes lost against Veterans back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell just short of the Warhawks by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lowndes actually scored more points across those three sets (62-60), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 26-24, 15-13.

Veterans can attribute much of their success to Piper Seaman, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lowndes fell to 4-1. As for Veterans, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Lowndes and Veterans will both be playing Northside the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warhawks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
