Basketball Recap: Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Extends Winning Streak to Three

Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics had won two straight games and Nehemiah Hackman did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Louisiana Math Science & Arts Eagles 56-21 thanks in part to Hackman, who went 10 for 19 en route to 20 points and seven steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 13 games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Quartemont, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.2 points. As for Louisiana Math Science & Arts, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Louisiana Math Science & Arts, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 27th.
