Softball Recap: Piggott Comes Up Short

The Piggott Mohawks came up short against the Cross County Thunderbirds on Thursday, falling 21-9. The Mohawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piggott's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cross County, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

Piggott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cross County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
