Soccer Game Preview: Central Christian vs. Mansfield Christian + How To Watch

The Central Christian Comets will challenge the Mansfield Christian Flames at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Mansfield Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Central Christian got the win against Crestview by a conclusive 6-1. Central Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mansfield Christian fell victim to Upper Sandusky and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

The win made it two in a row for Central Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Mansfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Central Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Mansfield Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Flames have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
