There's no place like home for Ohatchee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past the Piedmont Bulldogs 6-5. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 5-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ohatchee's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Piedmont, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Ohatchee and Piedmont could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Ohatchee will face off against Cherokee County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday down 70 places (79 vs. 9). Similarly, Piedmont (ranked 254th) will meet Glencoe (ranked 125th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
