Basketball Recap: Central Valley Hawks vs. Beyer Patriots
Central Valley lost against Beyer back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Central Valley Hawks took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beyer Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 700th, while the Patriots are ranked 266th).

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jace Mclennon, who posted 15 points.
